DIPTYQUE BAIES CANDLE

• The first time you light the candle, allow to burn until the wax is evenly melted and pools to the edge. This ensures an even burn, and prevents tunneling.
• Use a wick trimmer to keep your wick at a length of ¼ inch for all subsequent burnings to minimize soot, debris, and blackening of the glass.
• Burn for a maximum of four hours at a time to keep the wick from getting smoky.

The name ‘Diptyque’ comes from the word ‘diptych’—a painting or sculpture divided in two hinged panels that can be folded together. The original store at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain had two large display windows on either side of the entrance as if an opened diptych inspiring the founders to name it after the antiquated art style.
